Perks of being a wallflower

There is so much to say about this movie. I've watched out before and it is by far in my to 10 movies that I love. This movie takes me on an emotional rollercoaster. I feel for Charlie and want to fight for him to come out on top. To get three high school experience that everyone deserves. Unfortunately with todays society school isn't what out used to be. This movie shows bullying of many different sorts. Discrimination, acceptance, self discovery, honesty, and best of all true friendship. I can't stop singing the praises of this movie. the people chosen to portray each character were definitely well thought out. If you haven't seen this movie, what are you waiting for. Dive into this little treasure. This is the breakfast club if this decade, according to me :) rate: 5/5

The conjuring

I saw this movie on Saturday. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised about how much I liked this movie. It's one of those horror movies that has you on the edge of your seat wondering when the next thing is gonna make you jump 5 feet out of your seat. I'm pretty sure there was a moment I actually screeched. It's about a family who moves into a new house and starts experiencing paranormal activity. they do some investigating and found out some pretty interesting stuff. I don't want to give anything away but I can say if you like a good scare I say go see it. You won't want to play hide and clap for a little while

Eon by Alison Goodman

I have to say this book was a happy surprise. I was at my brothers house and he was playing ps3 and I was looking for something to do. He handed me this little treasure and I was off.
Eon is a fantastical fantasy about a boy who is studying to become a Dragoneye. Little does he know that he is in for a surprise. He fights odds and comes against some strong opponents. The secret he possesses can put the lives of those closest to him in jeopardy. He has yet to see how much power he truly possesses. Does he protect himself or fight for a greater cause. This is one of those books that I would love to see made into a movie..( hint hint Mr. J.J. Abrams.) If you are looking for a great colorful fantasy with an Asian flare, this is definitely a book I recommend.

What am I

So I have started this blog "Mingled Ratings" to give me a place to express my opinion on things I try out. Whether it be movies, books, music, music videos, make-up ect. I am an everyday person with lots of opinions. I love anything thing from opera to rock, independent to horror, Old and New. As far as books go fiction is my weakness. I love fantasy. Eh what can I say, I like to live in a dream world. So as I experience things so will you. I hope you enjoy my rantings and ravings on why or why I did not like something.
